Thayer's Greek Lexicon, rebuilt from the 1889 page scans — verified entry by entry against the page

The complete Thayer's is public domain and every open digital copy of it is lossy — most descend from one defective transcription, the rest lose something else. So we rebuilt it from the Harper & Brothers 1889 scans: four transcription routes, two collated passes plus an unrelated model family as a third witness, adversarial judges, and a rule that no character may exist that is not on the page.

Two arks, one word

Norwegian calls Noah's vessel an ark and Moses' basket a kiste, but Hebrew uses one word for both. Multiply that decision across thirty-six languages and you have the reason we built our own dictionary service.

Deuteronomy 4:29 says “seek” twice. The Hebrew does not.

One English word covers two different Hebrew verbs in the same verse, and the movement between them is the whole point. This is what Darash was built to show — including the searches that prove nothing.
